The groundbreaking at Bruce Road Reconstruction Project in Chico marks a significant milestone. The project will widen Bruce Road to two lanes each way with a landscaped median and walking paths/bike lanes one each side.
The project, which is part of California's 1st Senate District, encompasses various counties in the state, including Alpine, El Dorado, Lassen, Modoc, Nevada, Placer, Plumas, Sacramento, Sierra, Siskiyou, and Shasta. In addition, the district serves deferred areas of Tehama, Butte, Colusa, and Glenn counties.
