Of the 3,250 people living in Mount Shasta city in 2020, 49.7 percent (1,614) were women and 50.3 percent (1,636) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Redding Today.

Females 18 and over outnumbered males in the same age group by 187. In the 65 and over age range, there were 464 females and 484 males.
