Census Bureau: 83.7% of people in Trinity County were old enough to vote in 2021

Of the 15,818 citizens living in Trinity County in 2021, 83.7% were old enough to vote, equating to 13,245 individuals, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained on Oct. 26.

Further breakdown reveals that of the voting-eligible population, 6,743 were male, constituting 50.9%, and 6,502 were female, making up 49.1%.

The percentage of citizens old enough to vote in Trinity County during 2021 was higher than the state average, which stands at 77.2%.
