The Trinity County Sheriff’s Office announced on April 13 that it is seeking the public’s assistance in locating Robert Jamieson, a Florida resident who was reported missing after visiting friends in the Burnt Ranch area. Jamieson was last seen on April 8.

Authorities said Jamieson left a residence in Burnt Ranch on foot, leaving behind his vehicle, dog, and personal belongings. Prior to his disappearance, he reportedly expressed concerns about being tracked and may have discarded his phone.

Investigators noted that Jamieson may have been using narcotics, including stimulants, before he went missing. They also indicated that he appeared to take steps to dispose of some personal items before leaving the residence.

Search and Rescue teams conducted ground and drone searches following Jamieson’s disappearance but have not yet located him. Notifications about the case have been sent to regional law enforcement agencies as part of ongoing efforts to find him.

The Trinity County Sheriff’s Office urges anyone with information regarding Robert Jamieson’s whereabouts or anyone who may have seen him to contact their office at (530) 623-8126.
