Senator Brian Dahle adjourned the California Senate session in memory of Helen Roberti on August 13, 2024. Helen Roberti, affectionately known as "Grammy," was a central figure at the Roberti Ranch, a family-owned cattle and hay business in Sierra Valley.
"I commend her unwavering dedication and invaluable service to her community and the surrounding region," Senator Dahle stated. "Helen lived a remarkable life, and her legacy will never be forgotten."
California's 1st Senate District includes all or portions of Alpine, El Dorado, Lassen, Modoc, Nevada, Placer, Plumas, Sacramento, Sierra, Siskiyou, Shasta counties as well as parts of Tehama, Butte, Colusa, and Glenn counties.
