Senator Brian Dahle has issued an update addressing recent events and legislative achievements within California's 1st Senate District.
In light of significant wildfires, Senator Dahle reminded constituents to remain vigilant and prepared for potential evacuations. "Having to be evacuated can be extremely stressful, and come suddenly. It’s important to be prepared ahead of time," he stated. He advised residents to consult CAL FIRE for information and checklists to ensure readiness.
Senator Dahle also highlighted the challenges faced by those under evacuation orders, including missed wages and delayed mail. He assured that his office is available to assist with issues involving state agencies such as EDD, DMV, or the Franchise Tax Board.
